    Global Commitment to Eliminate Industrially-produced trans fats (iTFAs)

    The World Health Organisation came up with the REPLACE Action Plan to provide a clear roadmap for the elimination of Industrially produced trans fats (iTFAs) from national food supplies with a goal of global elimination by the year 2023. TFA elimination is predicted to save 17.5 million lives by the year 2040.
