IILA joined key stakeholders at the Alcohol and Substance Use Prevention and Management Technical Working Group meeting, held at the Four Points by Sheraton in Nairobi. The convening brought together major public health players, including the Ministry of Health, NACADA, the World Health Organization, the NCD Alliance Kenya, ISSUP Kenya, KETCA, and the Kenya Medical Training College.

IILA’s Programmes Manager, Ken Marau, presented on the role of resource mobilization and strategic partnerships in advancing the national goal of a Kenya free from alcohol and drug abuse. This engagement is part of IILA’s continued effort to collaborate with government and civil society to promote effective, sustainable public health strategies.
