IILA  participated in the 2025 Global NCD Alliance Forum (NCDAF2025) in Kigali. Fabian Oriri presented on alcohol control advocacy, while Rachel Kitonyo-Devotsu chaired a dynamic session on legal and data approaches to NCD prevention in Africa.

The forum highlighted impactful case studies from Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda, reinforcing the importance of law and data in implementing NCD Best Buys. IILA’s presence underscored its leadership in alcohol policy advocacy and legal capacity-building.

This gathering served as a key moment for regional collaboration and advancing public health priorities ahead of the 2025 UN High-Level Meeting on NCDs.
